200W/sqm Heating Mats

200W/sqm heating mats are the most powerful system available for domestic and office use and, when used with an intelligent thermostat, they are the least expensive system to run due to their fast warm up time. Heat Mat pioneered the use of 200W/sqm mats offering them as sole source heating in conservatories from 2004 and, although updated many times since, these systems offer a very effective heating system with no increase in build height.

200W/sqm mats are only suitable for use beneath tile or stone floor coverings and they should not be laid directly onto wooden bases. If installing a floor onto a wooden base thermal tilebacker board or a 2mm skim of tile adhesive should be laid first.
