Aluminium Tape

Aluminium tape is used to secure certain types of underfloor heating or heating cable whilst also aiding in the spreading of the heat out from the heating element.

The thickness of the aluminium layer in the tape is key to it’s effectiveness at spreading the heat out and with a product such as Heat Mat’s Underlaminate Heating System it is supplied as standard, ensuring an exceptionally smooth heating profile for the floor above.
