Approvals – BEAB Component Approval

BEAB Component Approval conforms that the British testing house, BEAB, has rigorously tested a component of a heating system, such as the heating element wire, and confirms it meets the most up to date relevant national and international standards and that it is safe.

BEAB, uniquely, carry out a number of tests especially relevant to the UK electrical market and therefore alternative test houses approvals should not be directly compared to BEAB’s component approvals when considering a system for use in the UK.

Heat Mat’s 100% aluminium earth shielded element wire, as used in all undertile heating mats and cables, carries the BEAB Component Approval mark.
