Approvals – BEAB System Approval
BEAB System Approval conforms that the British testing house, BEAB, has rigorously tested a full system including the heating mats or wires, thermostat and all instructions, and confirms that they meet the most up to date relevant national and international standards and that they are safe.
BEAB System Approval is the premium level that can be achieved for an underfloor heating system for installation into the UK. BEAB, uniquely, carry out a number of tests especially relevant to the UK electrical market and therefore alternative test houses approvals should not be directly compared to BEAB’s approvals when considering a system for use in the UK.
Heat Mat’s 160W and 200W/sqm heating mat systems, Pro Heat and 3mm undertile heating cable and CPS thermostat carry the BEAB System Approval mark.
