Cable Trace

Cable Trace is a revolutionary product introduced by Heat Mat for the location of electrical underfloor heating cables beneath floor coverings such as tiles, vinyl and laminate. The heat sensitive liquid crystal sheet is laid on top of the unheated floor. The heating system should then be turned on and after a short amount of time the heating cables show up on the sheet as coloured lined.

The sheet is particularly useful if you need to verify exactly where the heating cables lay prior to screwing down a pedestal or doorstop. These handy heat detection devices can also be used to confirm the areas in a room heated by underfloor heating.
