Reinforcement mesh

Reinforcement mesh is often used to strengthen screed beds and help prevent them cracking. It consists of a grid made up of thick metal bars which the screed is then poured over the top of. When installing an in-screed cable it is possible to lash the cable to the reinforcement mesh with zip ties rather than having to use the fixing strips provided. If this method is chosen it is important to ensure the cable spacing remains even.
