Single Conductor Heating Mats

Single conductor underfloor heating mats use one conductor/heating element rather than two. This wire design means that both ends of the mat require connection to the thermostat or connection box and there are two coldtails on the mat.

Although much cheaper to produce, these products take longer to install than twin conductor systems and they also emit higher levels of EMF radiation than twin conductor underfloor heating mats.
