How to install 7mm Heating Cable
a) Place the double-sided tape onto the layer of insulation (moisture barrier if used) in runs 1m apart and strip off the backing.
b) Lay the fixing strip down onto the tape to secure it.
c) The cable should be locked into place using the clasps on the fixing strip.
d) The cable should be locked into place using the clasps on the fixing strip.
e) Once the entire floor is covered the runs of cable should be fairly taut and the cable should be evenly spaced on the floor.
f) Place your floor sensor in a closed conduit between two heating cables or preferably at the top of the screed.
g) After testing each cable with a multi-meter, cover the heating cables with your screed which must be at least 50mm thick. Once the screed has dried you can lay your final floor covering.
