Keep working in Winter on a Building site
Temporary heating mats are available for construction sites and suitable for thawing out ground ahead of excavation work or digging foundations. The mats are reusable and a standard mat covers 3m2 with both 110V and 240V options available. Mats can also be used for frost protection of sand for bricklaying, defrosting drums and bales or clearing ice from walkways and ramps.
Our screed heating cables provide controllable heat output to prevent curing concrete from freezing. And an 110V frost protection system for pipes is also available. And the 7mm cable we supply can be used to heat forklift ramps, entrances, pavements and walkways enabling areas with high traffic to remain safe in winter. Trace heating is particularly suited to safeguarding water and waste pipes or sprinkler systems and can also be used to heat handrails.
