Underfloor Heating Thermostats – Floor Sensor

All underfloor heating systems have to have method of limiting the floor temperature to comply with the 17th Edition. Many underfloor heating thermostats use a small temperature sensor on the end of a wire to measure the actual floor temperature as they can be bedded in beneath the tiles. This method gives a very accurate floor temperature reading, however the floor sensor will only be able to measure the temperature in the area which it is placed.
