These low output mats are more commonly used in large new-build or change of use projects where a restricted power supply means that a low output electric heating system is vital as the overall Ampage of the system needs to be as low as possible. Recent Heat Mat projects have included retirement complexes, apartment blocks, a luxury hotel and a large Passivhaus all using our 60W/sqm mats to provide sole source heating.
60W mats are often used in energy-efficient new builds, Passivhaus properties or eco homes where a low output system will easily heat rooms. 60W mats can be used as sole source heating or support other forms of heating in a property.
